I have known Doctor Hyde for 23 years and, I wanted to express my gratitude for his professionalism and excellence. 23 years ago, he performed a difficult removal of my leaking appendix and a tumour, which literally saved my life. Ten years later, my GP found a lymph node in my breast and advised me to find a way to see the best specialist in this domain – I naturally went to Doctor Hyde! Luckily, I was his old patient, and he was more than happy to see me and solve my problem. As always, his attention was exceptional, not only he solved my problem but also performed my regular follow-up checks until I moved to England. All these years, he was extremely professional, smart, patient, skilled, and the most brilliant surgeon I have ever known. Now, I live in London and recently went to visit Doctor Hyde again. I saw many specialists in London for recurring pain, but, unfortunately, no one was able to help. After two years of investigations, I had no doubt that if someone would be able to solve my mystery problem – no doubts, - it was going to be Doctor Hyde. Once again, on short notice, he was able to review and evaluate all my medical letters, tests, and imagery from England and promptly organize a mammogram, an ultrasound, and asked his colleagues to see me and to give me some pain-relieving shots. There are no words to describe his professionalism and care! Dear doctor Hyde, many thanks for everything you have done for me and your patients, I cannot be more grateful! I also want to thank Brooke Leedy, PA-C, Doctor Hyde's physician assistant. She was amazing and very professional! Between Doctor Hyde and the staff at Scripps La Jolla, the level of care is amazing. I highly recommend Dr, Hyde, Brooke Leedy, PA-C, and the Surgical Association staff of La Jolla!

Dr Hyde is an amazing surgeon and human being! I went to 3 other surgeons for office visits and was shocked how unprofessional, inconsiderate, rude they were. Thank God I discovered Dr Hyde. He and his staff are professional, considerate and polite. Dr Hyde treated me with much sincere care and concern before and after the hernia surgery he performed on me. He did my surgery on a Friday and he actually called me the next day, Saturday, to see how I was doing. He asked that i contact him if for anything. I did contact him a couple times and he was prompt getting back to me. I thank God that I took the time to look for a surgeon I was comfortable with. Dr Hyde is my surgeon for life and I will highly recommend him to everyone!!

Dr. Sherman is great. I'm 71 and had 3 hernias repaired at the same time with very little soreness afterwards. He spends time with you and explains all that he is doing, answers all questions, etc. You go to a surgery center instead of a large hospital which makes the whole experience as stress-free as possible. Doctor Olson recently (May 2020) repaired my prolapsed rectum and a small hernia. I really appreciate direct, straightforward conversation with my medical professionals. Doctor Olson provides just that. She was extremely easy to talk to about this difficult, most embarrassing condition. Dr Olson was able to schedule my procedure within 5 weeks of my initial office visit. My experience: -wear pads every minute of the day and night, thicker each week -afraid to go anyplace, do anything for fear of leakage -worst experience; sitting in an airplane with leakage and sitting in My dentist’s chair for an hour with a complete BM on my pad. If this is you, call Dr Olson immediately and get it taken care of. My life has changed immeasurably. I’m back to doing everything I have always done including volunteer work, walking, driving, taking trips. I feel like a new woman and that’s saying something being almost 80. Dr. Mark Sherman is absolutely the best! He performed an umbilical hernia repair on me. I was nervous about having this procedure done. But the outcome has been better then I expected. I had manageable abdominal soreness after the procedure which was easily handled by ibuprofen. Dr. Sherman is exceptionally skilled and I highly recommend him if you are in need of hernia repair.

I have nothing but the highest accolades for Dr. Sherman. He performed a difficult removal of a diseased and infected gallbladder, and thoroughly explained the diagnosis, surgical process and post-surgery findings at every step. Between Dr. Sherman and the staff at Scripps La Jolla, the care is amazing.

Dr. Sherman is exceptionally smart and skilled surgeon who solved an involved abdominal problem for me that some of the best in the business could not solve. His medical instincts always seem to turn out right. His communication is clear and wisdom is beyond his years. I could go on.. I cannot think of any drawback, I only wish I had found him sooner.

Excellent surgeon all around. You will not get better!

Nothing but the greatest things to say about my experience with Dr Sherman. He is wise, experienced, and sincere. Everything you want in a surgeon. I had bilateral tension free mesh hernia repair. I was recovered in no time and back in the gym after 2 weeks. Sure take it easy in the beginning but there are "no restrictions" after surgery. I'm very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend him to anyone who thinks they might have hernia or are suffering from dull but persistent groin pain
